We realized that we couldn’t outdo the magnificence of the Vijayanagara Empire. Instead, we drew inspiration from its architectural heritage to recreate a memorable resort that blends historical elegance with modern luxury to set a new benchmark. While the four types of suites on offer differ from each other, they are united by a common and shared theme of luxury and understated elegance that permeates the resort’s Indo – Islamic style reflecting the secular architecture of Hampi.

Jal Mahal

The Jal Mahal is a reflection of Vijayanagara architecture at its luxurious best. Inspired by the Water Palace within the Zenana Enclosure, the spacious Jal Mahal boasts of separate dining, living and sleeping areas, and a royal sized bath with its own open courtyards. A private deck with a Mantapa overlooking your personal pool provides the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Suitable for families or couples celebrating a special occasion.

Zenana

zenana, the most luxurious suite in the main palace building is inspired by the Queen’s quarters. It has separate living, dining and sleeping areas. These large and spacious suites have their own private balcony and, additionally, a shallow Water-jet Pool (non-heated) in the en-suite bathroom. They are perfect for couples who seek romance in a period setting.

Tuluva Multi-Cuisine Restaurant

Tuluva’ – our multi-cuisine restaurant, is named after the most notable and cosmopolitan dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire of Southern India. It was the third Hindu dynasty that ruled the famed empire during the late 15th & 16th century, attaining its greatest glory under its most famous emperor Krishnadevaraya.
The Tuluva, over looking the infinity pool, offers a delectable selection of cuisines with global and regional notes that are as unique and imaginative as it is sumptuous and varied.

Bahmani

The Bahmani, a specialty restaurant, derives its name from the Bahmani Sultanate, the northern neighbour and principle rival of the Vijaynagara empire. The Bahmani Sultanate sowed the seeds of the Deccani or Hyderabadi cuisine of India, an amalgamation of Persian and indigenous influences. Evolved over centuries and patronized by the royalty and nobility of the region, it epitomizes the art of luxurious dining
