Mumbai formerly Bombay, on the India’s west coast in Arabian sea, is the largest city in India and second most populated city in the world.  Mumbai is also the financial capital of India where lot of people from all around the country come to fulfill their dreams. South Mumbai (Fort, Colaba, Malabar Hill, Nariman Point, Marine Lines, Church Gate ) is the oldest downtown area and is considered the heart of this commercial capital of India. Iconic Gateway of India and Taj Mahal Hotel at Apollo Bunder on Mumbai Harbour are the symbolic representation of the city. An hour cruising by a local ferry or a private luxury yacht from Gateway of India takes you to the Elephanta Island famous for UNESCO World Heritage Site of rock-cut Elehanta caves of 5th -6th century.  Fort area is home to many buildings of Colonial architecture including Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Victoria Terminus). Mumbai is also home to many buzzing market streets like Colaba market ( just at the back side of Hotel Taj Mahal ) and Crawford Market.

Mumbai at one side is the financial capital of India having reign of billionaires, it is also home to the biggest slum in Dharavai where thousands of people live in small houses but have evolved their own culture of community living. Mumbai is also famous for a true galaxy of stars where Bollywood reigns supreme.
